Hello Carolyn,

It's not too late!! Tomorrow the BYB book club will be meeting to discuss "The Stress Code" by Richard Sutton. I have to say this is a must have/read for all of my clients. I hold a strong belief that in order to do your best work, you need to be at your best. If you're a leader who subscribes to the same thinking I can't recommend this book enough. Already in print for 4 years the timing of it now as we emerge from the pandemic is critical.

In it you will learn the different phases of stress, ways of managing stress beyond the common sleep, meditate, do less. As well Richard discusses ways to rebuild and repair your body so as to be better able to respond to stress physiologically.

Didn't read the book but want to join...you are more than welcome to pop on and just listen to the conversation! We would love to see you there!

Better Your Best Book Club

Friday, May 13th - 12 pm PT

This one's personal! Richard Sutton was my husband's physical trainer back in his professional tennis days. The value he brought to our lives with his wisdom and care is immeasurable. And now we are excited to share his knowledge with you! Research has revealed that stress can destabilize our DNA, thereby compromising our genetic integrity, leading to the increase in many of the diseases we as a society are grappling with. This book is therefore one of resilience not avoidance. Full of tools and skills to buffer the adverse effects of stress and enhance functionality and health, The Stress Code is a response to the global call for stress management solutions.

HIRING FOR SUCCESS - How to Benchmark Your Key Roles

Have you ever watched the movie Moneyball? The movie where they basically use baseball data to create a winning team? Have you ever considered what the data of your players and your team is? Before you make your next key hire spend some time considering the key data of your ideal candidate. Our assessments help analyze key behaviours, motivators, and core competencies related to your important roles. Join myself and BYB associate Candace Giesbrecht as we share the must have tool for your next hire!

Wishing you all the best!
