How do you know when you need to have a
Courageous Conversation?

Your body tells you.

You viscerally feel very uncomfortable, know you need to address it, but would rather check your e-mails or take a phone call. A common theme I see with leaders and business owners is truly delaying or avoiding that which makes them most uncomfortable, the important conversations that require a little bit of courage.

People avoid this difficult conversation for fear of making things worse. But the cost of not having the conversation always outweighs the cost of having the conversation. Common costs to an organization include lost productivity, decreased engagement from staff (who see you not addressing an important issue), and diminished trust overall. And as we all know, trust is the foundation of any great high performing team.

We've saved our most favourite training topic for last, this year: Courageous Conversations. It's our favourite because, when done regularly, yields way better results than planning or execution. When done regularly, it builds the trust, accountability and commitment needed to drive your strategy. A culture that includes the ability to hold courageous conversations cultivates access to new ideas, perspectives, solutions and overall stronger working relationships.

You and your team are invited to join us for our final monthly lunch & learn webinar of 2021 - we'll be investigating:

  • The costs to your organization of not engaging in Courageous Conversations
  • Understanding your emotions and how to prepare for a Courageous Conversation
  • Introduction to Data Dome's Productive Conflict Model

Remember these webinars are complimentary and are available to you and your teams.

What Our Clients Have to Say:

As a team, we were pleased with Carolyn and Sasha’s facilitation of DISC and the Influencing without Authority Training Program. The sessions promoted more self-awareness and has allowed our team to consider other communication approaches when working together and with our partners. Not to mention that the discussion was engaging and applicable to our real world scenarios. I’d recommend Carolyn to help teams improve their communication through DISC!
